I grew up in North Wales and the physical intensity and wildness of the landscape and my own deep sense of connection to it has always shaped my work.
I studied Sculpture at Brighton University (1995-1998), and then an MA in Fine Art at the Slade School of Art, UCL in 2001
I have also worked as a Museum display Designer, am trained as a Forest School Teacher and can thatch a roof. I worked for several years building reconstruction Bronze Age and Saxon buildings and teaching Historic crafts. I have a deep love for trees and two young children.
I'm currently artist in residence at the Towner Gallery, Eastbourne.
I have exhibited regularly since 2001 in both group and solo exhibitions.
I live and work in East Sussex.
